Why is HVAC system maintenance essential?

  1. It's required by many manufacturers to keep parts warranty valid.
  2. It extends the life of your system and helps prevent early system breakdowns.
  3. It keeps your system operating at peak efficiency, saving homeowners money on energy costs.
  4. It helps identify potential issues with your system early, preventing unwanted system interruptions.

What should you look for in your HVAC maintenance company?

  1. Are they sending an experienced technician to your home to provide you with true system maintenance, or are they sending you a trained salesperson or junior maintenance technician?
  2. Are they charging enough to justify the time and effort of an experienced technician maintaining your system, or are they counting on upsells every time they come to your home?
  3. What are they doing to protect your system and home? Are they using a coil cleaner or just water for your coils? Do they perform carbon monoxide tests to ensure no leaks in your heat exchanger?
